Motorola: DROID X unofficial Android 2.2 update won't be compatible with official update in September

On the Motorola support forums, a Motorola rep named Matt locate a warning for Motorola DROID X customer undesiring to upgrade to a leaked, authorized sketch of Android 2.2 Froyo. His warning said, "Do NOT load the leaked 2.2 upgrade such has been heavy about on the [internet]. There is currently not at all upgrade pathway from that load on the official 2.2 shot that will be released via early September. Unless you enjoy unusual scale drawing to streak your ring up abet on the current official load, you could be cling like ivy on the leaked version."
